About the role 

At Firely, we build enterprise-grade software that makes health data more accessible and more useful. Our FHIR server is at the heart of that work, helping healthcare organizations around the world exchange data more reliably and efficiently.

To help us push that further, we’re looking for a talented and curious Backend Developer (.NET) to join our development team. This role is for someone who enjoys owning their work, diving into hard problems, and contributing to a standard that’s shaping the future of healthcare. 

You’ll work in a small, collaborative team alongside a product owner, lead developer/architect, and fellow engineers. You’ll have real autonomy over your technical scope and senior colleagues to think alongside when the problems get complex. 

What you’ll be doing 

You’ll contribute to the development and improvement of Firely Server, our flagship FHIR server product. That means building new features, improving performance, and helping shape the technical direction of what we ship. 

In this role, you will: 

• Design and implement backend features in .NET / C#
• Work with REST APIs to enable reliable health data exchange
• Write and optimize queries across MS SQL Server and/or MongoDB; including indexing strategies and schema design for healthcare data
• Handle and validate JSON/XML payloads in line with FHIR specifications
• Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions
• Use AI tools to support development, planning, and quality assurance
• Collaborate with colleagues and, where relevant, engage with the wider FHIR community

To help us tell that story, we’re looking for a curious, hands-on Junior B2B Marketer who is excited to learn by doing. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, likes taking ownership, and gets energy from turning ideas into content, campaigns, events, and social posts that actually go live.

You’ll join a small, collaborative marketing team, so you won’t be limited to just one corner of marketing. You’ll get involved in content, social media, newsletters, campaigns, website updates, and events. We work in a scrum-like rhythm and reset priorities every three weeks, which gives you the freedom to bring your own ideas, explore new projects, and actively shape the skills you want to build. You’ll learn a lot, get trusted with real work, and have the space to make things happen.

What you’ll be doing

Content creation

You’ll create content that connects with our audience, from website pages and email newsletters to social posts and campaign materials.

You will:

• Write and publish content for the web, email, and social media
• Do this while keeping SEO in mind
• Update and maintain website content in our CMS
• Support campaign concepts and messaging
• Help make sure our monthly newsletter is not only sent, but also read

Social media

You’ll shape and run our organic social media presence.

You will:

• Manage our social media calendar
• Write, schedule, and publish posts
• Interact with our community
• Help strengthen our brand and employer profile online
• Test ideas, track performance, and keep improving what works

Event support

Events are an important way for us to connect with customers and prospects around the world. You’ll help make sure our presence is well organized, on-brand, and followed up properly. We participate in two types of events: conferences and webinars.

You will:

• Coordinate event timelines and keep all moving parts on track
• Manage relationships with external vendors, including design agencies, stand builders, and AV suppliers
• Support venue logistics, from floor plans and booth setup to build-up and break-down schedules
• Source, order, and track event materials such as badges, business cards, printed collateral, and equipment
• Prepare and align internal stakeholders and external partners ahead of each event
• Manage registrations, submissions, and attendee communication for our webinars
• Handle practical logistics, including travel coordination and on-site support
• Collaborate on pre- and post-event campaigns to ensure our event presence translates into meaningful conversations and pipeline

• Drive enterprise revenue growth across the Americas, owning complex sales engagements from market development through multi-year contract execution and account expansion 
• Identify, develop, and close strategic opportunities within FHIR-driven markets, positioning Firely as a trusted interoperability partner 
• Engage senior technical stakeholders (CIOs, CTOs, product leaders, interoperability executives) in strategic conversations around healthcare data architecture, standards adoption, API strategy, compliance requirements, and digital quality measurement 
• Structure and negotiate enterprise agreements, including pricing strategy, commercial governance, and long-term partnership models 
• Build and expand strategic partnerships that strengthen Firely’s presence within the US digital health and interoperability ecosystem 
• Represent Firely as a visible market leader through industry events, thought leadership, ecosystem engagement, and active participation in the FHIR community 
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, consulting, and marketing teams to align customer needs with solution capabilities and long-term product strategy 
• Contribute to defining Firely’s enterprise sales strategy, operating model, and go-to-market approach as we scale in the Americas 

• 7–10 years of progressive enterprise business development or commercial leadership experience within a technical B2B environment 
• Familiary with the US healthcare ecosystem, including procurement dynamics, regulatory drivers, and complex stakeholder environments (experience with interoperability and FHIR strongly preferred) 
• Proven track record of originating and closing complex enterprise deals in the $100K–$1M range 
• Demonstrated success navigating long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving both executive and technical decision-makers 
• Strong commercial hunter mindset with the ability to independently build pipeline in an evolving market 
• Equally capable of driving long-term account growth, commercial governance, and strategic relationship expansion 
• Experience owning the full commercial lifecycle, from opportunity qualification and solution positioning to pricing strategy, contract negotiation, and post-sale commercial stewardship 
• Ability to engage credibly at C-level and senior technical levels 
• Comfortable operating with high autonomy and accountability in a scale-up environment 
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across international, cross-functional teams 
• Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed
